My daughter wanted to take some special photos with her little girl. I couldn't think of a sweeter way than to do a tea party, but with a bridal twist. This session was so much fun and I hope she'll cherish them forever, I know I will.

Marcy was born with Spina Bifida, a congenital defect of the spine in which part of the spinal cord and its meninges are exposed through a gap in the backbone. It often causes paralysis of the lower limbs. Marcy has recently turned 2 and uses a wheel chair to get around indoors, she also crawls very fast! I'd say this wedding was definitely one for all record books. With Hurricane Matthew's arrival, everyone seemed to be a little on the nervous side, everyone that is except Rebecca! We arrived at her parent's house and everyone was going about their business as usual, hair and makeup, food, and lots of chatter about the weather. The football game was on, to my surprise, the ladies really seemed to enjoy that!! You would have never known that we were being bombarded by a Hurricane outside, unless you looked outside that is. I must say, with everything that went on, Rebecca was a CLASS ACT through the entire day, as you would expect if you know her. I'm blessed to know this sweet couple, and even more blessed to have been a part of their very special, very eventful day!

Everyone pulled together to make this day perfect! From the fairy lights to the cakes as well as the homemade jam made by Rebecca's mom as favors (personally my favorite)...I'm sure they couldn't have asked for a better day! They have endured a lot in their first month of marriage, but I know the Lord has blessed this marriage, and we should all be so lucky to have what they do! I hope you enjoyed the photos, we plan to take more this weekend to make up for not being able to during the hurricane. I'll post those as soon as we're finished.

What is a Pop Up Wedding?

Pop Up Weddings are trending around the world. Located throughout the United States we decided to take the concept and bring it to our local area.  At our Pop Up Weddings, multiple wedding ceremonies will happen in one day at the same venue. The separate events share the cost of the day making each wedding more affordable than a traditional wedding.  The Pop Up Weddings are pre-planned and designed. This ensures that you have almost nothing to plan when it comes to your wedding. All you do is invite your guests show up and celebrate your love. We have designed these weddings to eliminate stress, and to help give you the wedding of your dreams without having to pay the full cost. We are designing weddings for everyone, staying with current trends and getting really creative and unique to provide an unconventional way to wed.

Where will my Wedding take place?

We are taking appointments at Long Creek Farms. There are 3 location options on the farm for a small wedding. If you would like to tour the property or have questions, please contact us through this website or @longcreekfarmsevents@gmail.com. We'd love to speak to you.

Will another wedding be happening the same time as ours?

No. Your wedding will be the only one happening at the chosen venue at your chosen time. Each wedding is scheduled separately and at a different time from the other. We will have staff on hand to ensure the events run smoothly and that no guests are lingering around to view your ceremony or be a wedding crasher.

What is provided at a Pop Up Wedding?

You will be provided with top notch vendors from the Wilmington and surrounding area. Each vendor has been hand picked to ensure you get great quality and affordable pricing. Depending on the package you choose you will be provided with the venue, photographer, videographer, décor, music for the ceremony, cake, champagne, cocktail food, wedding coordinator and officiant. 

How many guests can I invite to my weddings?

All of our weddings include seating for up to 20 people and will have 20 covered chairs. If you want to bring more guests, you may inquire about additional seating. Our Farm Venue offers beautiful benches for seating for up to 80 people.  You may invite more guests that’s not a problem! Your end price will just increase a little to reflect the changes in seating. 

How many photographs will I get?

You will receive approximately 100 full resolution downloadable photographs per hour your wedding is being photographed. Prints are available at an additional cost.

How much does a Popup Wedding Cost?

We have a couple of packages at this time. Please note that this concept is fairly new, and we have to make arrangements with a venue to host the weddings.

Exclusive: $3500

Our Exclusive Package includes two full hours, venue, 20 covered chairs, photographer, videographer, all decorations, a beautiful arbor, an officiant, music for the ceremony, and a coordinator.

Classic: $2500

Our Classic Package includes two full hours, venue, 20 covered chairs, photographer, all decorations, a beautiful arbor, an officiant, and music for the ceremony.

Additional bench seating may be added for $10 per bench. Florals may also be added for an additional cost.

Please inquire about adding an additional hour for cocktail, cake cutting and a champagne toast.

What to expect at my Popup Wedding?

Please come dressed and ready to go. Bring your own bouquets and other necessary flowers. Arrive 20 minutes before your ceremony start time. All ceremonies will begin promptly at your scheduled time, so please be sure you are on time. We will do the rest to ensure your day is beautiful and organized.
