I met Taylor and Alex after being referred by a good friend. We had coffee at Starbucks and I thought they were just the sweetest couple ever. They've known each other for what seems like forever, even attended the same college...ECU (go pirates)! I could tell they were meant to be together from that day. We got to spend some time together as we traveled to ECU for their engagement session, after that I felt like family! We mainly talked about our beagles, Cooper and Lizzie! Cooper was my back seat companion! Taylor's mom Billie Jean came along to help out with Cooper, but she didn't tell me how incredibly talented she was. Ever little detail, down to the handwriting on each individual lap blanket was created with love!

Rebecca & Doyle {Married} | Atkinson Wedding Photography

I'd say this wedding was definitely one for all record books. With Hurricane Matthew's arrival, everyone seemed to be a little on the nervous side, everyone that is except Rebecca! We arrived at her parent's house and everyone was going about their business as usual, hair and makeup, food, and lots of chatter about the weather. The football game was on, to my surprise, the ladies really seemed to enjoy that!! You would have never known that we were being bombarded by a Hurricane outside, unless you looked outside that is. I must say, with everything that went on, Rebecca was a CLASS ACT through the entire day, as you would expect if you know her. I'm blessed to know this sweet couple, and even more blessed to have been a part of their very special, very eventful day!

Everyone pulled together to make this day perfect! From the fairy lights to the cakes as well as the homemade jam made by Rebecca's mom as favors (personally my favorite)...I'm sure they couldn't have asked for a better day! They have endured a lot in their first month of marriage, but I know the Lord has blessed this marriage, and we should all be so lucky to have what they do! I hope you enjoyed the photos, we plan to take more this weekend to make up for not being able to during the hurricane. I'll post those as soon as we're finished.

Molly & Gregory Married <3 | Wilmington Wedding Photography| Wrightsville Manor Wedding

I met Molly a couple of years ago at a wedding that she was in, and she even referred me to another bride (her soon to be sister-in-law) before she was even engaged. Believe me, I sure was honored when she did that! With a heart as big as you can imagine, she finally got her prince charming in Gregory! Let's just say, There are Definitely 2 less FISH in the SEA! As a fisherman by trade and by hobby, Gregory was the perfect catch! They welcomed me in like family, and I couldn't be happier for them! Congratulations on your new life together, may many blessings be upon you both forever!

The staff at Wrightsville Manor, Knot Too Shabby Events, and MOI Catering were on top of things, as they usually are. But I have to give them serious props, a tropical storm and a wedding don't mix, everything was perfect! The professionalism was extraordinary down to the very last detail!

A wonderful time was had by all, who knew we were having a tropical storm!! Rain or shine, friends and family celebrated their love and commitment to each other, and it was absolutely perfect!
