A Surprise Proposal| Wilmington Wedding Photography

Lindsey was surprised at her brother's wedding with the proposal that made us all cry with happiness! They set it up where Kristi the bride handed her the bouquet, then Matt got down on one knee.... and I'm happy they asked me to capture it on video. Now, I'm happy to announce I'll be their wedding photographer as well. I do love this family and all their weddings! Congratulations to this sweet couple, may you have many, many years of happiness together!

Lana & Conor Wedding | Wilmington NC Wedding Photographer

Lana and Conor live all the way in Arizona, so the first time we met was on their wedding day. I don't think I've ever had a completely calm bride until that day. Fighting a cold, she spent her wedding eve indoors, with medicine and lots of rest. Well, it must have helped her a lot!! She never got nervous once! I loved the fact that her two little sisters were a part of her bridal party, and her sweet cousin was my helper for some of the detail shots. 

Their wedding took place at the gorgeous St. Mark Catholic Church in Wilmington, NC. The weather was perfect, sun was shining and the birds were singing! The girls arrived via The British Taxi and I pulled in right behind them grabbed my camera and snapped a shot really fast. I don't even think Lana knew I was there! ;)

Their reception was at The Riverroom in downtown Wilmington on the river. The perfect backdrop for any wedding, and some of the nicest people to deal with in the area!  I hope you enjoy their blog, Lana and Conor were amazing clients!! I wish they lived closer so I could see them more!!

Amanda & Nat, A Backyard Dream Wedding| Wilmington NC Wedding Photography

Today's ceremony was at the Groom's parents home in Wilmington, and it was nothing short of any upscale wedding venue. With its manicured landscape and their beautiful house as a backdrop, they couldn't have chosen a better place. As you can see, there's no shortage of beauty at this wedding. I was blown away by this breathtaking bride. PC3 Pastor officiated the ceremony and delighted the crowd with the readings from the Bible, didn't see a dry eye! Starting  off the reception with great sounds was Duke Ladd with his band, and they were amazing. The food was perfectly placed and absolutely the best catering job I've seen to date by Jerry Rouse and his very professional staff. The cake and cupcakes were a scrumptious treat from Apple Annie's also in Wilmington.
