Kenzie & Adam| Engagement Session| Wilmington NC Wedding Photography

I cannot even choose a favorite photo from last night's session at Long Creek Farms. Kenzie and Adam will be married next Sunday, and I really wanted to get a chance to photograph them before next week. So, they agreed to meet up with me at the farm on Good Friday. We're so excited for this wedding as it has been a long time coming for all of us. I cannot wait to share images from their wedding. Lindsey & Matt, Engagement Session|Wilmington Wedding Photography

These two have an infectious love for each other. If you've ever been around them, you know exactly what I mean! Luckily, I was there when Matt proposed, I'm sure many of you have seen the video, but if not, I'll link it at the end of the blog! They met at Lindsey's work place, which happens to be the restaurant her family owns. Matt was a frequent customer, but I bet he became a permanent fixture around there after being smitten with Lindsey. Well, he took his time asking her out, so she decided to ask him! So romantic and bold, but it has paid off! The rest is history and now they are getting married three short months from now in Matt's hometown. I'm honored to be the one they chose to capture their day, be on the lookout for the blog of their wedding.

Karina & Alan Engagement| Wilmington Wedding Photography

Yesterday, we were finally able to get Karina & Alan's Engagement photos taken, we were rained out the last time....and wouldn't you know, the radar said 0% chance of rain and it rained. Luckily we decided to meet at The New Hanover Co. Arboretum (after deciding not to go to the beach, because it was raining). They have a couple of covered areas there, and we made due with our weather situation. 

I see a lot of young couples in love, getting married and I must say that I was impressed with the way they handled being in front of the camera. Most people are shy, and I try to make them comfortable, one reason I love engagements. This way a couple is use to me sticking my camera in their face ;) But, seriously, I had them to mainly focus on each other, and the result, well judge for yourself. All I can say is....CHEMISTRY!
