Tiffany + Adam| Wedding Photography Southport
I usually have no idea where to begin when writing blogs, but this one is quite simple, this family is tight, they are good and honest, they love Jesus, and they know how to have a good time. Sometimes simple is the best solution too. I never saw one person not in a good mood or smiling for this very sweet couple. In fact, yesterday was the one year anniversary of when Adam asked Tiffany to marry him. How better to celebrate it than to deliver their wedding photos! So grab a cup of coffee, tea or glass of wine and relax, because here's their story!
How They Met!
Cayla (my matron of honor) and I have been best friends for over 15 years and we finally were single together. I lived in Greenville, NC and she lived in Raleigh, NC. We would spend every weekend together. We would always find somewhere and some place to go visit on the weekends. It was our little adventures. For a couple of months she kept talking about this guy she knew name Adam, who I've never met, but he saw me in one of her Facebook pictures and kept asking her about wanting to meet me. I thought she was interested in him, but little did I know she was secretively wanted us to meet. One weekend in April, we decided to drive to Fayetteville, NC to the dogwood festival. My best guy friend David (my mans maid) was driving from Wilmington to meet us there. Cayla and I were at lunch before we drove there and told me that her friend Adam was also going to meet us there. We get to the festival and the first thing I had to do is use the ladies room (Port a potty). This really cute country boy was walking out of it as I was walking in it. This blonde, blue eyed man wearing cowboy boots caught my eye but he had a little pee on his pants. I can't remember exactly what I said but we ended up joking about it. When I came out of the port a potty, this charming fellow that caught my eye was standing beside my best friend. Cayla said Tiff this is Adam. And the rest is happily ever after. :)
The Proposal :-)
We've been dating for five years. He went turkey hunting with my dad that morning and I went to Pure Barre. When he got back I was taking a nap. No makeup and looking like I was homeless. I did just get my nails done so they were looking good. Thank you Jesus. haha. I got up and went to our shed because him and my dad were hanging out down there. The shed is a place where we all hang out and there's so many wonderful memories that we've made down there. I was sitting in the swing and mom just walked down to sit beside me and said she just put the bread in the oven to go with our super dad was grilling on the grill. Adam said I've got something to say and dropped down onto one knee. I was in so much shock, I didn't know what to say. It was a total surprise. We've talked about marriage but we've never looked at rings or anything. Dad cried and mama burnt the bread! Haha it was such an exciting time. Within 20 min we had about 45 family and friends that came over with champagne and we celebrated all night. It was a perfect night and my ring was gorgeous. I couldn't have picked one out better. It was so me and its so special to me because he designed it and I had no clue about it.
